Kids at the Beach

Posted by The Burrow

I think my favorite part of our month long trip was the easy access to the beach. It's amazing how much I took it for granted all the years I lived in California. Here are just a few pictures of the kids enjoying the beach. Kennedy and Jett LOVED it. Kennedy was a natural on a boogie board, if we'd given her a little while longer I think she would have wanted a surf board. Jett was always in the water. Honestly, he was so happy at the beach. It's a shame we live so far from one. Luke, Andrya, and Michael went often. Andrya literally almost burned her face off. She had those tiny little sun blisters all over her face. OUCH! Luke really liked it but sometimes there were other things going on he would rather do. Michael enjoyed it once he got there but he was always not quite sure if he wanted to go. Todd and Maxwell went once and only once. We went in the evening and had dinner on the beach. It was AWESOME. They both sucked it up and went as a favor to me. You can imagine being OCD and going to the beach.....YIKES! They both seemed to enjoy it for the most part....and as far as I am concerned if someone could build me a beach in Tennessee and a house right on the beach I don't think I would ever leave it....

The picture of Todd is cracking me up! He has that 'i would rather be on the golf course' face. Ahh, a face I know only too well.
Welcome to the wonderful world of being a golf course widow.
As a matter of fact, I believe our men have a 12pm tee time today!
Here I lay in the hospital for the 5th day and he's playing golf! Can't much blame him though..Love you!

Good times.
Noodle Salad.

(I think that's a quote from "As good as it Gets")
