Medieval Times

While in Orlando we went to Medieval Times. We had soooo much fun. These pictures pretty much explain themselves.

Downtown Disney

Posted by The Burrow

Disney Quest was located in Downtown Disney so for lunch we took the ferry over to the otherside and had an awesome lunch at The Earl of Sandwich. We walked backed to Disney Quest by going through Downtown Disney. We had to stop in at the Lego store.
One of the pictures is of my kids with the Lego kids. The other one is a picture of a Transformer made out completely of Legos. Awesome!

Disney Quest

Disney Quest is a 5 story virtual theme park. Basically 5 stories of video games....anyone that knows my husband and boys, knows this was like Disneyland....

The girls managed to have a good time too.

and Jett of course.....

I couldn't fit Jett in to the lasr post so I gave him his own...... can you tell he hates to have his picture taken...lol J.K.

The Kids at the Pool

Kennedy (let me just say...it was not cold at all, ever in Orlando. She just has no insulation), Luke (this is a rarity...this boy hates to have his picture taken), Andrya (okay so her bathingsuit really doesn't come down that far), Maxwell ( anyone feeling Tarzan...thats what this picture reminds me of..lol), and Cameron ( a great looking and awesome addition to the family).

I thought it would be fun to post these. I was actually able to get a picture of them each individually. Which is very rare. The posting of their names is for the benefit of those that haven't seen my kids in awhile.

Random vacation pictures

The top two pictures are of the view from our room. It was pretty cool because it's the tennis courts and the sport court. The kids could go out there and play and we could see them right out the door. The next picture is of the inside of the main hotel. What you see is an elavator that is glass and it goes up all the way to the top of the hotel. after you get past the first few floors it goes outside and from what I understand the view is amazing. I think I am the only one that DID NOT go on it. The next picture is just of the kids been silly outside the main lobby at the Villas.

The Marriott in Orlando

We stayed at the Marriott Palm Villas. The villas were part of a resort. The pool in these pictures was part of the main hotel. The pool was HUGE. Anyone that knows how big the outpost pool is, well this is about five times that size. It had a water slide and 5 waterfalls. It was absolutely AWESOME. We spent a ton of time there. The last picture is not very good because it was taken at night but I thought it could give you an idea how awesome this place was.

A day at Cocoa Beach

Posted by The Burrow

This summer Todd and I took the kids to Orlando, Florida. Thanks to my wonderful parent in laws, who so generously let us use one of their time shares. It was a very last minute thing. I think it came down to Colleen having 18 minutes to book it....lol... We managed to get everything ready in about a week and with a crowd this size, that is no small task. Seeing that Michael was in California on his senior trip, we took Cameron, Michael's friend who has been staying with us. This first group of pictures are of our day at Cocoa Beach.

Oh so RANDOM!

This post is for a few of the random pictures I love that I would like to share. The 'Bag Men' are Todd and Maxwell. I had bought a couple ice cream cakes from Baskin Robbins for Michaels birthday and they decided to make heads out of them. Next is a picture of Kennedy and Todd dancing at Anne's parent's 40th wedding anniversary. So sweet....

I'm pretty sure you can tell where we were in the next picture. Jett had a great time at the premiere of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. We all enjoyed the highly antiscipated movie. The last picture is of a baby shower cake I did for one of my dance teachers. It was a mad hatter style...it was a lot of fun to make.

Kennedy at UDA Camp

Posted by The Burrow

At the end of spring Kennedy made a gutsy move and tried out for the dance team at the studio where we dance. It was no small feat but she busted her tail and made it with flying colors. The pictures I have posted are of the UDA camp that the dance team went to. Kennedy did really well, she came home with several blue ribbons. A blue ribbon represents a superior performance. She also received a ribbon for being one of the last girls standing during drill downs. Drill downs consist of military style commands. You must execute these moves without any hesitation. I thought it was pretty awesome that she could do this with how ADHD she is. Lol..One of the pictures is Kennedy with her Big Sister Morgan. Morgan is one of the senior captains and is an awesome dancer. The large group picture is most of the dance teams. The senior team was off somewhere else but you get the gyst of how large this group is. The uniform they are wearing is there performance uniform. It is what they will wear when they compete all year. The picture that has the girls in the green and navy is Kennedy's hip hop dance she performed at camp. She is smack dab in the center. This is one of the routines she received a blue ribbon for. The last picture is of Kennedy, her roommate Ryann and her very good friend Jasmine. The camp was held at UT and the girls stayed in the dorms. It was a wonderful experience even though it was set up in a very boot camp fashion. They had a wonderful time, all though Kennedy said she would have preferred to have a little more sleep.
