After many, many, many, did I say many hours of rehearsal, the recital of 2009 finally reached us. All of my, Andrya, Michael, and Kennedy's hard work finally came to fruition last weekend. It was with mixed emotions that we went on that stage and danced our hearts out. On one hand we were very excited to finally do what we had worked all year for but with the recital comes the end of the dance year. Andrya had 4 dances and Michael, Kennedy, and myself had 5. That is a lot of doing your absolute best and a lot of costume changes in a period of about 2 hours. Sometimes only having one dance in between two of your dances. Which means... oh.... um... maybe 3 minutes if you are lucky.....

This year we were very fortunate to have some family in the audience. Grammie (Colleen), Donia, and Alli were here to cheer us on. It was great and really a different experience than in the past. Also, it was different for me beacause this year I had the opportunity to dance on stage with Michael and Ande. In one of the dances, I had the pleasure of dancing with them both. Everyone did their best and we had a great time.
