When you think it's as bad as it gets....sometimes it just gets worse. That is what it seems to be doing over here at the Burrow. Last week I posted about the craziness going on in our home. Since then we have only found out that it is NOT the sewage. Praise God for that but we haven't found out what is causing the water to come in. We do know that it has stopped. They found, what looks like a dryer duct, full of water and there is some speculation to where that water came from. The guys that came out to look at it just set up their fans and mumbled something about it being caused by the poor work of the original contractor and then they left. The head guy at the company called Todd and told him that if it is what the plumber thinks it is then it will not be covered by the insurance. How they can say that, I do not know. They haven't even found where it was coming from in the kitchen. They don't KNOW what is causing it. They are CRAZY. The insurance adjuster is supposed to be out this morning, so I guess we'll see what he has to say.

Meanwhile, back at the Burrrr..ow........... Our heating when out Saturday night. After calling my brother-in-law Rich, who does Heating and Air in Cali, we finally called someone out to look at it. It's kind of ironic that the company we use is called Igloo because that is what it is like in this swiss cheese, swamp house. FREEZING! He took a look at it. Messed with it a bit and came to the conclussion we need a new part. Not ANY new part but a potentially $500.00 new part...and can you believe it????....it isn't a part that he had on his truck. So we are on our second day of FREEZING.
