The day we got home from The Biltmore, Colleen and Ellen arrived for a visit from California. While they were here, I got to show Ellen all of my palces. She really wanted to see things like, our grocery store, the kids schools, our favorite food places and such. She even went to a dance class with me. That was great! During their stay we got to celebrate Jett's birthday...twice. The first time was his actual birthday. The second was his birthday party with a bunch of his kindergarten buddies. We took them all to see the movie BOLT. They seemed to enjoy that. We had ice cream cake and opened presents in a little room the theater provides for that. Grammie/ Colleen was able to help Luke and Kennedy both with projects they had due at the time. It was really hard to see them go but of course the time is always too short. I did try to convince Ellen that she would enjoy living out here....lol...but to no avail. They left the day of Maxwell's 16th birthday. We didn't do much to celebrate. We had one of his favorite dishes and enough homemade cheesecake to feed a small nation. It was quiet but that is what he wanted.
